(1) Your best choice is an R.V. Dealership that has been around for more then 10 years, usually a family owned and operated dealership is usually the most successful because we care about our clients and their purchase. (2) I often hear clients ask: Can we finance and not pay for 1 year! (or) 6 months etc.... The answer is YES you can, however do you really want to pay all that extra interest that is going to be added to the price of the trailer? THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS NO PAYMENTS WITH NO INTEREST FOR A YEAR! (3) Make sure your dealer is Displaying an ORVDA Logo . A licence dealer will have this to show you they are reputable and approved . (4) ***Store Buying Power.... does not necessarily get you the best price, always shop around for the best price....every dealer has Buying power no matter what size the dealership*** (5) *** Always insist that you will not pay extra fees as in: Freight, PDI, Prep or Administration fees..... this should be included in the price. They will add this on the Bill of Sale. (Refuse to pay the extra charges). (6) ***If you are financing your trailer at the Dealership, make sure they do not tell you that the (BANK) charges a fee to open an account....this is not true, also you do not have to take Life Insurance or extra Warrantties. WHEN BUYING A TRAILER, IT SHOULD BE AN ENJOYABLE EVENT --NO PRESSURE-- --NO HASSLE-- THIS IS NOT A CAR DEALERSHIP , IT'S AN R.V. DEALERSHIP PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT |
